After 5 races and 1 discard. Both ALIG8R and CUL8R finished in the top of the IRC5 fleet Cork Week. ALIG8R was placed 6th (1, D12, 2, 9, 11), while CUL8R was placed 8th (2, 4, D12, 12, 10) |

Cork Week. After the long coastal race for IRC5, a race for over 4 hours in almost 20kts of wind the two Courtown boats were well up the fleet. CUL8R finished in 4th overall, while ALIG8R finished 12th. The two crews were happy with the day but very tired after the long race. Team CUL8R�s performance has credited them with current 1st overall in IRC5. |

Light conditions dominated the opening day of Cork Week at Crosshaven yesterday (Monday) as the estimated 5000 sailors began racing in the five series that is one of the highlights of the international sailing season. Day 1 in Cork week saw two Courtown boats Alig8r and Cul8r dominate their Class. Finishing first on Elapsed and Corrected time the honours for the first race went to Alig8r. They were followed by Cul8r who finished 2 mins and 32 seconds behind.<follow their progress>
